US Vice President Joe Biden and the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim discussed the fight against terrorism in a telephone conversation yesterday.
Biden strongly condemned these senseless acts of violence in Turkey. The US Vice-President and the Turkish Prime Minister pledged to continue the robust cooperation between the two countries on combating terrorism. The leaders also reaffirmed their strong support for efforts in Cyprus to reach an agreement that reunifies the island as a bi-zonal, bi-communal federation, the White House said.
