U.S. President Joe Biden, who has had talks directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said it's his guess that Putin "will move in."
"I think he still does not want any full-blown war," Biden said during a press briefing Wednesday. "Do I think he'll test the west? Test the United States and NATO as significantly as he can? Yes I think he will."
“So there’s room to work if he wants to do that,” Biden said, referring to Putin. “I believe he’s calculating what the immediate, short-term and the near-term and the long-term consequences [for] Russia will be and I don’t think he’s made up his mind yet,” the U.S. president added.
