Bidzina Ivanishvili about Panorama Tbilisi project - I am ready to hand over the project to interested businessmen at any stage

I am ready to hand over the project to interested businessmen at any stage, Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Chairman of the Georgian Dream party, said in his interview with Entrepreneur, while speaking about Panorama Tbilisi project, InterPressNews reports.

Ivanishvili noted he is ready to offer a 30% discount to a buyer.

“Panorama brings three unique hotels with different advantages together: the first one is located in the city center – at Liberty Square, which is designed for high-ranking and high-income guests. We have managed to build a modern and distinguished hotel in a very short period of time. The second hotel will focus on tourism. There will be modern conference rooms of a very large scale. I would also like to recall that a few years ago, about 3,000 high-ranking guests visited Tbilisi to attend the annual EBRD conference and there was not the proper hall and so-called occasional spaces were arranged to prevent breaking the event.

The second hall of Panorama will completely solve this problem for our country and it will open new opportunities by giving the possibility to host any high-level and large-scale conference or meeting,” Bidzina Ivanishvili said.

The chairman of the ruling party noted that the third hotel of the Panorama project would be placed on Tabori Hill, where the golf courses will be built and "this hotel will also be designed for high-income guests."

“It’s clear this project will not be profitable compared to its cost. That's why I have the following approach : If they build according to an existing concept and plan, I will have to offer a 10 - 30 percent discount. We have one goal - Tbilisi to have a new business card - an unprecedented and exclusive project in the world that will provide it with an additional long-term function – will develop business tourism in our capital, ”Bidzina Ivanishvili added.
