The black boxes that were found on the crash site of a Su-25UB combat capable trainer attack aircraft in Russia's Stavropol Region may be decoded, according to preliminary examination, a regional emergency source said.
"The black boxes were found, just like the other parts of the plane. They were taken from the crash site for examination. According to preliminary study, it will be possible to decode them," TASS cited the source as saying.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Su-25 UB training attack aircraft crashed on Tuesday. Both pilots were killed. Their bodies were recovered. It was earlier reported that the pilots were experienced: they were a chief of flight safety and a flight commander.
