An explosion rocked a polytechnic college in Kerch, the east of Crimea, today, leaving a number of people dead and injured, a source in the local emergency services said.
"The blast occurred this afternoon. There are deaths and injuries. Emergency services are heading to the accident scene," TASS cited the source as saying.
"According to preliminary data, nearly 70 people were injured," the source said, noting that the exact number of deaths will be reported later.
According to the city ambulance, 18 injured persons were hospitalized, and 50 others may be sent to hospital soon.
