A fire broke out after a blast at a pipeline supplying natural gas from Iran to Turkey this morning.
Authorities stated that the blast took place in a section of pipeline near Gürbulak border crossing between two countries, in the eastern province of Ağrı. The explosion sent a huge plume of flames. The gas supply was cut off, and firefighters put out the fire.
Security forces launched an investigation into the incident, Daily Sabah reported.
