The body of the Russian pilot Oleg Peshkov has been brought to the Chkalovsky airfield, located near Moscow.
The aircraft was met by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Chief of the Air and Space Forces of Russia, Colonel-General Viktor Bondarev, the Defense Ministry reports, noting that during the flight in the airspace of the Russian Federation the plane was accompanied by an escort of fighter aircraft.
