Boeing reduces 737 production after tragic crash

The Boeing announced a reduction in the production of 737 aircraft model, News.am reported citing BBC.

According to the company’s statement, from mid-April, Boeing will be producing 42 aircraft per month instead of 52.

An Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max crashed after take-off from Addis Ababa in March, killing all 157 people on board.

At the end of March, the Boeing concern prepared the MCAS update, which should prevent the launch of the emergency system based on erroneous data. This update, however, has not been released yet.
