Assistant to U.S. President for National Security Affairs John Bolton will visit Baku on October 20, the politician wrote on Twitter.
"On October 20th I'll be travelling to Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia to meet with my counterparts and other senior officials to advance American interests on a range of security issues," he wrote.
Earlier, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent said that the U.S. appreciates Azerbaijan’s contribution to security in Afghanistan. He added that the US praises the activity of the Azerbaijani government to ensure and enhance security in the region.
