Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is up for three major accolades in this year’s Golden Globe Awards.
The film has been shortlisted for best comedy or musical movie while stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Maria Bakalova are up for acting awards.
Baron Cohen has also been nominated in a separate category for his supporting role in the drama The Trial of the Chicago 7, Chortle reported.
Fellow nominees for best actor in a comedy or musical include James Corden for The Prom, Lin-Manuel Miranda for Hamilton and Dev Patel for The Personal History of David Copperfield.
In other categories, nominees include Olivia Colman for The Crown and her forthcoming film The Father, Jodie Comer for Killing Eve, Hugh Grant for The Undoing and Daisy Edgar-Jones for Normal People.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on Sunday February 28.
