Istanbul’s Bosphorus Strait, which was closed to marine traffic this morning, was opened, the press secretary of Turkey's Transportation and Communication Ministry Turan Özyanık said.
The straight was closed for a research and rescue effort to reach a man who had gone for a swim in Istanbul's Bosphorus, went missing after getting caught in a drift on July 15, Hurriyet Daily reported.
Rescue teams will continue to search for a body, but without closing marine traffic.
