The Bosphorus Strait in the northern part of Turkey will be closed at 05.00am - 12.00pm on June 30 due to the construction of the Yavuz Sultan Selim, the third bridge connecting the two parts of Istanbul.
Usually, sailing of ships over 200m long, including Aframax and Suezmax tankers, is usually restricted in the day.
The bridge construction started in May 2013. The 57 days of restricted navigation in March-October were announced in March. The restrictions at the end of this week will be the 17th in the schedule.
