Turkey's justice minister Bekir Bozdag said Fetullah Gulen is no longer "a useful tool" for the US.
Bozdag added that he believes the US will do what is necessary and return Gulen to Turkey.
“There has been no official response from the US regarding Gülen’s extradition yet. European countries also know. It is our right to expect everyone to be clear… If the U.S. does not extradite Gülen, it will sacrifice Turkey for a terrorist,” Bozdağ said at state-run Anadolu Agency’s editor’s desk meeting on Aug. 9.
He noted that whether the US extradites Gulen or not this will be a political decision.
