Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky has discussed the possibility of opening a branch of the State Hermitage in the territory of the emirate with representatives of the Government of Kuwait.
According to him, in general the state supports the program of the opening of large federal museums abroad, Tass reports.
Medinsky said that now "the ball on the Kuwaiti side," in the future we can expect direct talks with Director General of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky.
