Brawl disrupts Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Russia's freestyle wrestling championship has been suspended in Yakutsk after a brawl between two participants.

Wrestler Ismail Musukayev representing Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria pushed his rival Viktor Lebedev from Yakutia after judges announced the latter's victory in a May 27 match.

The two then started brawling in a live TV broadcast before security forces and the wrestlers’ coaches intervened to calm them down, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.
