This afternoon trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange stopped from 2:59 pm till 3:55 pm due to a server failure of the trading and clearing market system.
It was necessary to put the reserve server into operation.
"The reason for such an abnormal situation became the unstable work of the hardware of the main server at the trading and clearing system of the stock market. It was required to switch to a backup server in manual mode for the normal continuation of trading,’’ Interfax reports.
