British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley arrived in Tbilisi, the Georgian Foreign Ministry's press service reports.
As part of the trip, he will meet with his Georgian counterpart Ilya Darchiashvili and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. Bilateral and multilateral cooperation will be the main topics of negotiations.
The press service noted that Cleverly would talk with the Georgian leadership about economic and political cooperation, as well as cooperation in the security sphere.
On the eve of his visit to Georgia, the head of the British Foreign Office noted that London would transfer £500,000 to Tbilisi to ensure free and fair presidential elections.
