British Prime Minister Theresa May called US President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other European leaders after the announcement of an early election on June 8, a spokesman said, without giving details of the conversations.
Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny was among the leaders called by May, along with European Council President Donald Tusk, Reuters reported.
