The brother of Major-General Abduhalim Nazarzoda, who is a former Deputy Defense Minister of Tajikistan, has surrendered to the law enforcement agencies, a representative of the press center of the Tajik Interior Ministry said.
"Mirzohaet Nazarov, born in 1972, who at first joined the bandit formations of Nazarzoda, has left this group and surrendered to the authorities," Interfax quoted the source as saying.
The revolt of Abdulhalim Nazarzoda has claimed the lives of at least 40 people from both sides.
