Armenia’s ambassador to Belgium Tatoul Margaryan met Tuesday with the Director General for Multilateral Affairs and Globalization of the Ministry of Foreign Affair of Belgium, Jean-Arthur Régibeau, to discuss a number of issues concerning the expansion of the Armenian-Belgian cooperation, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Among other things, they discussed the opening of direct flights between Brussels and Yerevan. Jean-Arthur Régibeau handed Margaryan the application of the Civil Aviation Department of Belgium, according to which the right to carry out flights from Brussels to Yerevan is awarded to Brussels Airlines airline, ARKA reports.
During the meeting an agreement was reached on launching the flights in the current year and to increase the frequency of flights, if necessary next year.
