A price cap for Russian oil and similar measures will harm the European economy, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.
According to him, the number of energy exporters, on the contrary, should be increased to reduce prices.
"During the negotiations on the oil price cap, we fought a lot for Hungarian interests and eventually achieved success: Hungary was exempted from the price cap scheme,” the diplomat said.
