The national football team of Bulgaria got into a car accident in Tbilisi ahead of the League of Nations’ away leg against the Georgian team, the press service of the Bulgarian Football Union reports.
Upon arrival in Georgia, the players went to the hotel on two buses. The one of the buses’ drivers lost control and got into an accident. Bulgarian midfielder Todor Nedelev was taken to the hospital.
On June 12, Georgia will play with Bulgaria in Tbilisi. After three rounds the Georgians are leading in their group with 9 points.
