The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld the appeal of the Russian track and field athlete Darya Klishina against the decision of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to ban her from participating in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, TASS reports.
It was reported earlier that the Russian track and field athlete Darya Klishina was banned from competing at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Last month, IAAF’s anti-doping department rejected personal applications from all Russian track and field athletes to participate in international competitions, including the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, except for long jumper, Darya Klishina.
