The Russian and Czech scientists are going to release a modern catalog of a number of the archaeological sites of Karachay-Cherkessia, which will include the Khumarian fort, the oldest in Russia temples of 10th century and watchtowers, Paul Varzheka, a head of the staff of the West Bohemian University, organizing a scientific expedition to the country, said.
"Of course, the catalog, which will be created by the staff of our university and the Karachay-Cherkessia State University, will include a small number of the KCR archeology cites. But this catalogue will show a potential of your Republic and the opportunities for a further research,’’ TASS quotes him as saying.
