Russian oil is attractive to China for geographical reasons, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Chairman, Wang Yilin, said at the Eastern Economic Forum.
He noted that importing oil from Russia "has geographical benefits for China". Wang Yilin added that his country "wants to diversify its oil imports". "Oil from other countries is usually imported by sea," Gazeta.ru cited him as saying.
