Registration of candidates for the post of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is completed. Eight candidates will compete for the position in the first round of voting, who managed to get the votes of at least 20 members of the Conservative faction: former Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, Foreign Minister Liz Truss, Chancellor of the Exchequer Nadhim Zahawi, former Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt, Deputy Minister for International Trade Penny Mordaunt, the House of Commons' Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee Tom Tugendhat, Attorney General for England and Wales Suella Braverman and former Under Secretary for Women and Equalities Kemi Badenoch.
