According to the Georgian Interior Ministry, the police opened a criminal case against the New Political Center - Girchi party, which is organizing the Cannabis Legalization Festival in Tbilisi.
According to the announcement of the party’s leader, Georgian presidential candidate Zurab Japaridze, the Festival will be held on October 20 in Dead Ena Park. The festival will become an act of disobedience to the authorities and a de facto legalizing act of the cultivation and sale of the narcotic plant in Georgia.
