Cannes will host a night of Azerbaijani music on July 15 within the framework of the Cultural Festival. Alim Qasimov, a prominent Azerbaijani mugham musician, and other Azerbaijani musicians will perform at the concert, the Cannes Tourism Office reports.
An exposition entitled Carpets of Azerbaijan in Art will be organized on July 15. First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyev is expected to take part in the festival
The event will be organized under assistance of the Azerbaijani embassy in France and Cannes Mayor David Lisnard.
