Ankara expects to see solidarity from its NATO allies on Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, Turkis Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, speaking in a joint press conference with NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"It's not enough to say 'we understand Turkey's legitimate concerns,' we want to see clear solidarity," Anadolu Agency cited Cavusoglu as saying.
On October 9, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the launch of Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, which began with airstrikes on Kurdish positions.
