Cavusoglu on how Ankara takes EU sanctions

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said there is no need to take very seriously decisions made by the European Union to curb contacts and funding for Ankara over its drilling for gas and oil off Cyprus.

"We have three ships in the Eastern Mediterranean. We will send the 4th one as soon as possible," the Turkish diplomat said at a news conference in North Macedonia.

Cavusoglu's remarks came a day after the EU Foreign Affairs Council adopted conclusions on the Turkish drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
