Turkey expects the first delivery of US F-35 stealth fighter planes on June 21 this year, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said following his meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Washington.
The minister added that the agreement between Ankara and Washington on jets remained in force.
"We told that we do not respond well to threats. As of F-35, we have already signed the deal. For June 21, there is going be a transfer for the F-35s. There is no negative development," Turkish media cited Cavusoglu as saying.
