The harvest of grain crops has finished in Dagestan. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, agrarians of the republic gathered almost 20% more grain compared with last year.
This year, the area of cereals reached 81.2 thousand hectares (an increase of 1.2%). About 189 thousand tons of grain were gathered. The average crop capacity is almost 23.2 quintals from 1 hectare. Thus, the crop capacity increased by 12.6%.
