The ceremony of laying the foundation of Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), designed for gas delivery from Azerbaijan’s field Shah Deniz to Europe, took place in Thessaloniki, abc.az reports.
The ceremony was attended by prime ministers of Greece and Georgia, vice premiers of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, vice president of the European Commission for Energy Union, the leadership of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), as well as a number of European companies involved in the project.
