Chechen Ombudsman urges Kadyrov to retain his post

The Commissioner for Human Rights in Chechnya, Nurdi Nukhazhiyev, has urged the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, to retain the post of the head of the republic.

"Kadyrov's refusal would mean a mass violation of citizens' rights,'' Nukhazhiev said in statement posted on the site of the head of the republic and the Chechen government, Tass reports
