The residents of Chechnya, Ingushetia, Adygea, Kuban and highland areas of Sochi have been warned about avalanches.
According to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, a danger of avalanches in the mountains of Chechnya, Ingushetia, Adygea, the Krasnodar territory and highland areas of Sochi exists from 18:00 (MSK) of May 8th to 18:00 (MSK) of May 9th.
In this regard, the region is likely to have emergencies associated with damage to roads, buildings, power lines and buildings in areas of avalanches, RIA Novosti reported.
