Chechnya overcomes infant mortality

Chief pediatrician of the Health Ministry of Chechnya Taisiya Irbaieva reported today that the country has managed to reduce infant mortality by 50% due to staffing with the necessary pediatric personnel and maternity hospitals being equipped with the latest equipment.

The better service allowed the condition of pregnant women to be examined, RIA Novosti reports.
