Chechnya to form voluntary fire brigades

Six districts of Chechnya – Nozhai-Yurtovsky, Achkhoy-Martanovsky, Shatoysky, Shelkovsky, Vedensky and Naursky – will form voluntary fire brigades, the head of EMERCOM of Russia in the region Ruslan Yahyaev stated.

"Volunteers will carry out clock duty in the villages of Gilan, Shami-Yurt, Hal-Kela, Burunoye, Dargo and Pervomayskoye. These villages are far from the location of combat units of the Federal Fire Service, and therefore it was decided to establish voluntary fire brigades," 'This is the Caucasus' cited Yahyaev as saying.
