Chikovani appointed Gakharia’s spokesperson

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia’s advisor for strategic communications Irakli Chikovani will also serve as the PM’s spokesperson.

According to Gakharia, the new position "will increase the quality of the government’s communication with the public and media," Agenda.ge reported.

Chikovani was born on August 28, 1980. He was appointed as the PM’s advisor back in December 2018. Between 2012 and 2016 he was an MP in parliament as a member of the Free Democrats party.
