The Beijing authorities adhere to a cautious position regarding cooperation in Crimea, but it is not against the economic activities of Chinese companies in the republic, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Cheng Guoping stated.
According to the diplomat, under current circumstances, an increase in economic cooperation is the most "significant support" to Russia from China.
"That would be the most real help for our Russian partners," RIA Novosti quoted the deputy head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry as saying.
