China may invest in new hotels in North Ossetia

Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of the Kavkaz.RF Development Institute, discussed potential foreign investment for resort infrastructure development in the North Caucasus.

"Investors from friendly countries—China and India—are showing interest. We have specific investors and ongoing negotiations, particularly regarding large hotel complexes in North Ossetia's Mamison area",

Andrey Yumshanov said.

According to Yumshanov, several regional projects are already being implemented with foreign investment. Yumshanov noted that the unique natural environment must be taken into account when developing tourism infrastructure in the North Caucasus Federal District, TASS reports.
