The Christmas sermon was held in the Church of St. George on one of the islands near Istanbul on Saturday morning, Anadolu Agency reports.
The solemn service was conducted by Metropolitan Emmanuel Adamakis. The sermon was attended by representatives of the Greek community in Turkey and Christians who arrived from abroad.
