Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin stated at a meeting of the Security Council today that the terrorist organization Daesh has begun to lose its positions after the Russian military operation in Syria.
He noted that in accordance with the handling of the Syrian authorities, the Russian Federation continues to provide military assistance in the fight against Daesh and other terrorist groups, Tass reports.
