The chairman of Russia's Central Electoral Commission, Vladimir Churov, who is participating in monitoring the referendum on constitutional amendments in Armenia, stated that it is being held in accordance with the regulations.
He also noted that the activity of people is not very high yet. According to Churov, he visited six polling stations, and was at the opening of stations in Yerevan. "At about 10:30 (9:30 MSK), voter turnout was low. It is freezing out here, from -15 to -7, but sunny," TASS quoted him as saying.
He also stressed that at about 11:00 (10:00 MSK) significantly more people arrived at polling stations.
