Repair work in the Tbilisi Holy Trinity Cathedral will be paid for from funds of the capital's budget, the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reported.
Yesterday the cathedral’s premises affected by fire were inspected by Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and Tbilisi Mayor David Narmania on behalf of the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
"As noted, after the establishment of the scope of damage, the repair work will be financed from the capital's budget. Although the Ministry of Finance has expressed its readiness, if necessary, to allocate appropriate funds from the state budget,’’ Sputnik Georgia quotes a message of the Ministry of Finance.
