The Civil Contract Party is initiating the process of adopting a new Constitution for Armenia. The party also intends to intensify efforts toward the country's accession to the EU.

Armenia's ruling Civil Contract Party announced its strategic objectives following the parliamentary elections in June 2026. The party's platform was adopted at the congress on Saturday.

The party intends to initiate the process of adopting a new Constitution after the elections and to appeal to the people for an extension of its mandate for another 5 years, hoping to form a majority.

Furthermore, the platform states the party's intention to preserve its territorial integrity, including its internal and external borders.
