"Civil contract" disrupts meeting of Armenian parliament

The Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract faction is absent from the meeting of the republican parliament, local media write.

At this meeting, the parliamentary opposition wanted to adopt an appeal calling for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia.

As stated by Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, 34 deputies are registered. There is no quorum.

According to him, the meeting will continue if the required number of votes is collected within 4 hours.

It should be added that "Civil Contract" has 71 mandates in the Armenian parliament, which consists of 107 deputies.
