Supporters of the Armenian opposition resumed acts of civil disobedience this morning.
Demonstrators blocked several streets in downtown Yerevan demanding that their leader Nikol Pashinyan be elected the country’s Prime Minister, TASS reported.
According to local media, opposition marches and acts of civil disobedience have resumed in several cities throughout the country.
According to the Aravot daily, several hundred people have gathered in the city of Gyumri. A similar situation is being observed in Vanadzor, Artashat and Maralik.
Pashinyan earlier called on his supporters to bring traffic to a halt throughout the country for 20 minutes at 12:00 local time (11:00 Moscow time).
