Civilians in Russia's Stavropol region banned from using drones

Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov prohibited civilians from using civil unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.

The relevant decree was published on the legal information portal of the region.

“The use of unmanned civil aircraft in the airspace over the territory of the Stavropol Territory is prohibited until further notice,” the document reads.

It was noted that the ban doesn't apply to unmanned aerial vehicles used by state authorities of the Stavropol Territory, federal and municipal government agencies and their affiliated institutions and organizations that carry out state defense orders.
