A meeting of Chechen and Ingush religious leaders was held in Chechnya, which resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement. The guests from Ingushetia were met by the Mufti of Chechnya, Salah Haji Mezhiev, who called on the clergy to help one another in righteousness and piety.
"The clergy today is aware that in the global fight against the ideology of Wahhabism all religious leaders should unite," the press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the North Caucasus Federal District informed about the reasons for the meeting.
