Samir Sharifov, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 CIS Games, addressed the ceremony.
He emphasized that athletes from 8 CIS countries, as well as five other countries participating in the Games, demonstrated their skill and perseverance in competitions across 23 sports. A total of 235 sets of individual and team medals were awarded. Sharifov noted that millions of fans and sports enthusiasts experienced joy, excitement, and pride during the competition, and these moments are unforgettable.
